The vulnerability could allow for Internet-based images to download without the customer’s consent, thus alerting the site the message has been received and viewed. Customers should presume this instead means Entourage 2008 for Mac. This update supposedly addresses a single issue, which is a vulnerability in Outlook 2008 for Mac, which doesn’t exist.
'Information on Microsoft’s site is confusing.
If the update is language specific you might want to check various university FTP sites, most IT departments often have their own software update database for faster local downloads.īased on this site's description the update was for Entourage to halt 'web bugs'(email beacons) used by companies/spammers & being a general roll up of other patches but since its been EOL-ed this long I would use Thunderbird or SeaMonkey due to the better file database/compression(Entourage 2004/2008 were famous for having DB corruption issues): Can't help on finding the update but Microsoft has completely messed up their webite's software library lately as links are either broken or missing on Office 2004 too.
